ADSL filters/splitters Our products: ADSL filters and ADSL splitters
ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is a type of DSL. ADSL is used to provide standard phone services and transmit broadband information over the existing copper wires. It works by splitting your existing telephone line signal into two, one for voice and the other for data. ADSL enables classic analogue (POTS) or digital (ISDN) phone services to operate continuously with internet services without any deterioration in services. This is possible because ADSL filters or ADSL splitters are installed. ADSL filters must be connected to each phone socket where you want to connect a phone, so the voice services will not be affected by the ADSL service. ADSL splitters are used when ADSL filters are not appropriate. Please see below a configuration for ADSL filters and ADSL splitters.![]() |
